We are looking for people with the skills and vision to make a breakthrough in the field of nuclear molecular imaging market. Join our team as a Sales Executive in the United Kingdom selling our Medical Imaging Equipment to our clients and help us shaping the future of nuclear medicine.

Under general direction of the Managing Director, the Sales executive is responsible for sales of the Mediso’s clinical AnyScan product family in the UK and Ireland. The Sales Executive will achieve sales objectives by executing sales strategies for the given territory and will work closely with the Managing Director to achieve and grow territory revenue and develop the funnel for continued revenue growth.

What part will you play?

Develop and periodically update sales strategy for the UK and Ireland for Mediso clinical imaging portfolio.

Responsible for execution of strategic and tactical sales plans.

Responsible for sales through direct sales channel. Manage full relationship and sales cycle with customers.

Pro-actively work with key opinion leaders and end users to develop the sales pipeline

See opportunities in the area and work with key collaborators to ensure effective realisation of the potential identified.

Contribute to strategic business plans including budgets, forecasts.

Clear quarterly reporting on sales progress, opportunities, and obstacles, along with strong say in reporting formats; ensure company database is updated and current.

Actively participate in conferences, trade shows and exhibitions. Prepare and deliver presentations.

Support Mediso global clinical and research marketing materials, both internal support documentation and public materials. Participate on Mediso sales trainings and meetings.

Contribute to the planning and co-ordination for conferences organised in the UK.

Support Mediso product development including providing user feedback on specific application and system issues, market insights, and competitive analysis by providing half-yearly reports. Reports are provided for Managing director, Mediso Marketing and R&D.

Develop team members’ skills and competencies for sales sustainability over time.

Build and maintain proper business relationships and close deals with key-opinion leaders, current and potential end-users at nuclear imaging departments

Maintain professional relations with KOLs and customers and nurture relationships with professional society stakeholders, to ensure understanding of needs and positioning new products (NPIs) in these key customer groups

Participate and lead in tender responses and Supply Framework management including completion of responses and facilitation of site visits

Relationships

The position reports directly to the Managing Director and works closely with global Mediso sales & marketing organization who are responsible for the commercialisation efforts of the clinical and preclinical imaging platform globally.

Expectations

Skills and Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proven track record (10+ years’ experience) of ongoing sales successes and achievements with large-scale capital equipment for medical imaging, preferably SPECT and PET imaging products.
  • Existing strong network of decision makers and executives within the provider, payor and regulatory segments with imaging contacts.
  • Great network of nuclear medicine professionals across the UK.
  • Strong working knowledge of nuclear molecular imaging technologies. Knowledge of Global and UK market.
  • Maintain knowledge of current standards, industry trends and competitive capabilities in the nuclear molecular imaging arena.
  • Strong experience with executing the full business development and sales cycle from initial presentation to deal closing.
  • Strong negotiating/interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to understand people and communicate clearly.
  • Must be willing and able to travel across UK and Ireland on a regular basis and internationally occasionally.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Passport.
  • The candidate has eligibility to legally work in the United Kingdom.
