Mediso USA, LLC engages in the marketing, sale, application and technical support of in vivo imaging systems for life science research, molecular imaging, clinical and molecular diagnostics research development areas. Its technology platforms include nuclear medicine technologies, magnetic resonance technologies and computed tomography. It offers the nanoScan and MultiScan small animal in vivo imagers for molecular imaging field, including PET, SPECT, X‑ray CT and MRI scanning, and MultiCell small‑animal environment systems to provide support and monitoring functions to lab animals during the preparation stage and the imaging process enabling 4D, 5D imaging applications. It provides clinical and molecular research imaging instrumentation for nuclear medicine applications. The products and support services are offered to universities, research hospitals, government laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations in North America region.

Under general direction of the Managing Partner, the Manager, Sales & Marketing is responsible for sales of the Mediso preclinical nanoScan and research MultiScan product lines and their associated line of accessories, ancillary products in US and Canada. The Manager, Sales & Marketing will achieve sales objectives by executing sales strategies for North America territory and will work closely with the Managing Partner to achieve and grow territory revenue and develop the funnel for continued revenue growth. The Manager, Sales & Marketing will execute his/her sales strategies through direct sales and with strong support from the Mediso Ltd. pre-clinical commercial organization. Implementing and managing appropriate tactics and commercial systems to achieve the sales targets will be an integral part of the position.  Addition responsibilities will also include soliciting early customers for select Mediso products in select clinical research markets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and periodically update sales strategy for North America for Mediso research imaging portfolio.
  • Responsible for execution of strategic and tactical sales plans. Analyzes business opportunities to increase market share.
  • Contribute to strategic business plans including budgets, forecasts, sales.
  • Responsible for sales through direct sales channel. Manage full relationship and sales cycle with customers.
  • Closely manage discounting for revenue, market price integrity and profitability.
  • Clear quarterly reporting on sales progress, opportunities, and obstacles, along with strong say in reporting formats; ensure company database is updated and current.
  • Soliciting early customers for select Mediso research products in select clinical markets.
  • Responsible for planning and executing marketing activities, working in co-ordination with the Mediso Ltd. pre-clinical commercial organization. Be the voice of the company by maintaining and updating Mediso USA’s website and social media accounts.
  • Actively participate conferences, trade shows and exhibitions. Prepare and deliver presentations.
  • Support Mediso global preclinical and research marketing materials, both internal support documentation and public materials. Participate on Mediso sales trainings and meetings.
  • Contribute to the planning and co-ordination for conferences organized in US and Canada.
  • Plan and organize users’ meetings and workshops in the scope of marketing and promotion of Mediso technologies and products with the support of Application Specialist(s).
  • Maintain knowledge of current standards, industry trends and competitive capabilities in the preclinical and human research imaging arena.
  • Feed Mediso product development including providing user feedback on specific application and system issues, market insights, and competitive analysis by providing half-yearly reports. Reports are provided for MP, Mediso Marketing and R&D.
  • Develop team members’ skills and competencies for sales sustainability over time.
  • Build and maintain proper business relationships and close deals with key-opinion leaders, current and potential end-users at research institutions, pharmaceutical, biotechnology corporations in the United States and Canada on the field of preclinical and research related in vivo
  • Plans tasks proactively, effectively utilizes time and consistently contains costs.
  • Other assignments as deemed necessary by the company.

Relationships

  • The position reports directly to the Managing Partner and works closely with global Mediso preclinical sales & marketing organization who are responsible for the commercialization efforts of the preclinical platform globally.

 

 

 

Expectations

Skills and Knowledge/Experience:

  • Proven track record (10+ years’ experience) of ongoing sales successes and achievements with large-scale capital equipment for the research and diagnostic markets, preferably in vivo imaging products.
  • Proven growth and management of sales operation including regional sales managers and/or sub‑distributors.
  • Strong working knowledge of research related in-vivo imaging technologies. Knowledge of Global and North American market.
